Anita Barone

Barone performs on The Shoes (Seinfeld 4th season) in the role of Gail Cunningham. A chef who is looking for Elaine Benes's shoes. Barone was one of the cast members on Carol & Company, starring alongside Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in the character's first appearance in Friends. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone after leaving the show because she wanted to be a part-time character with a bigger part, was able to fill her. Barone was in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the first year (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005 to 2007. Barone was also co-starring in Daddio. Barone also has credits in television shows which include Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone received her 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the The feature film One Last Ride. In 2010 three years following the time that The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone was cast in a regular role in Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones as the ex-husband of the character played by Barone in two episodes.
